Lee Coates OBE
Lee is an experienced professional in ethical, sustainable, and ESG finance. He co-founded Ethical Investors in 1989 and Ethical Screening in 1998, pioneering responsible investing in the UK. Currently, he is a director and co-founder of ESG Accord, focusing on sustainability-related compliance. Awarded an OBE in 2011 for ‘services to ethical business and finance’, Lee enjoys gardening, photography, drumming, and home studio recording.

Elly is a technical compliance professional and co-founder of ESG Accord, specialising in sustainability-focused compliance for advisers, DFMs, and fund managers. A CFA UK-certified professional, she brings expertise in climate, ESG, sustainability and impact investing, with a career spanning compliance, pensions, S.166, and Defined Benefit reviews. She is the winner of the 2022 Professional Adviser Woman of the Year – ESG award. Elly enjoys yoga, surfing, and beach adventures with her children.

Samantha was a finalist for the Professional Adviser Woman of the Year - ESG (2024) and holds CII certifications in financial advice.
